Lessons/Training
Hickory Creek Performance Horses offers quality lessons and training. Craig and Jill Sweeting have years of lesson and training experience, both have been raised in horse families and active in all aspects of showing in the past and present. From hunters, race horses, APHA shows, AQHA shows, carriage shows, draft shows, 4-H shows and Haflingers shows they enjoy teaching others how to get the most from their equine partner.
Lessons:
Riding Lessons are available on our horses or your own. We teach lessons for Hunter under saddle, Western and dressage (thru first level). We offer private lessons so you get the most for your time.
Cost $25 per half hour lesson.
Driving lessons are also available. We focus on the ring classes, driving dressage and cones.
Cost $30 per half hour lesson.
Even if you do not want to show, we welcome you to come and take lessons to handle your horse in the safest manner. Children and adults are both welcome.
Beautiful indoor arena (insulated so it is warm in the winter!) and large outdoor arena available for lessons.

Show and Sale Preparation:
If you are interested in having your horse look its best for a show, sale or breed inspection we would be glad to give you a quote on the cost of having your horse condition to look its best for you. Many people overlook the importance of proper conditioning and fitting do not let this happen to you. Give us a call so we may discuss your needs.
